It has been over 20 years since the last operating levy request. The issue on the November ballot is 2.25 mills, and adds $6.90 per month per $100,000 home value.
Those funds fund these services that help Cuyahoga County residents with disabilities living and working in our communities:
Housing Support that helps keep residents with developmental disabilities living in their own communities, close to family and neighbors, instead of in costly institutions far from the people they love.
Behavioral Health and Nursing to provide the clinical support that keeps vulnerable residents safe, stable, and out of emergency rooms.
Early Intervention and Children's Services to give children with developmental disabilities and their families the tools they need to help them meet important milestones.
The Family Supports Program, which gives caregivers the respite, resources, and relief they need to help their loved ones thrive.
Therapies including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy to help people with disabilities gain independence.
Employment Services help people with disabilities find and keep meaningful work and strengthen our local workforce in the process.
Major Unusual Incident Investigations ensure that the people who depend on DD services are protected from abuse and neglect.
